Arrival and departure

  • What time is check-in?
    Check-in is from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. If you expect to arrive outside that window, let us know in advance and we'll arrange something.
  • And check-out?
    By 11:00 am. If you need more time, we can arrange a late check-out subject to availability.
  • What do I do if I arrive late at night?
    Call us on +34 985 76 43 19 or message us on WhatsApp. We'll give you specific instructions to access your room.

Your stay

  • Is breakfast included?
    Yes, a homemade breakfast is included in the rate. Local products, fresh bread and seasonal fruit. Served from 8:30 to 10:30 am.
  • Is there free Wi-Fi?
    Yes, free fibre Wi-Fi, reliable throughout the hotel, including all rooms. Good enough for video calls or the occasional remote-work day.
  • Do you have parking?
    Yes, free private parking right by the hotel. No need to reserve a spot.
  • Can I bring my pet?
    Pets are welcome when notified at the time of booking. A small cleaning surcharge may apply. We ask guests to keep pets off the bed and not to leave them alone in the room without letting us know.

Rooms

  • What room types do you have?
    Eight rooms, all exterior, with private bathroom. Current categories are La Sobia (king bed, valley view) and Peña Sobia (queen bed, mountain view). All include Wi-Fi, towels, hairdryer and a welcome set.
  • Can I travel with children?
    Yes, it's a family-friendly hotel. Some rooms allow an extra bed or cot — please ask when booking. The area is great for kids: the Senda del Oso greenway and the Prehistory Park are just 5 minutes away.
  • Are extra beds available?
    Yes, in some rooms, subject to availability. A small surcharge applies. Let us know when booking.

Surroundings · Teverga and Senda del Oso

  • What hiking routes are there near the hotel?
    Within minutes you'll find the Senda del Oso (an old railway line turned into a greenway, great for bikes and families). Within an hour: the Las Xanas Gorge, the Xiblu Waterfall, the Montegrande Beech Forest and the Ubiñas-La Mesa Natural Park. A detailed guide is in the Routes section.
  • How long is the drive from Oviedo to the hotel?
    About 45 minutes (55 km) on the AS-228 via Trubia and Proaza. It's a beautiful, well-paved mountain road.
  • Is the hotel close to the Senda del Oso?
    Yes, the nearest access to the Senda del Oso is about 2 minutes away by car. We'll tell you where to park and how to join the most spectacular section of the trail.
  • What else is there to visit in Teverga?
    The Prehistory Park (10 min away), the Collegiate Church of San Pedro in La Plaza, the Bear Enclosure run by Fundación Oso, and the high pastures (brañas) of Cuallagar and La Mortera in the upper valley. We provide directions and a map on arrival.
  • Is it a good area to travel with children?
    Very much so. Senda del Oso, the Prehistory Park and picnic areas make it one of the best rural destinations in Asturias for families.

Payment and booking

  • How do I book?
    Directly on our website, by phone (+34 985 76 43 19) or by emailing [email protected]. Booking direct always gets you the best price.
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    Card (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer and cash. We may request a deposit equivalent to one night at the time of booking.
  • What's the cancellation policy?
    Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. Between 7 and 2 days: 50%. Less than 48 hours or no-show: 100%. More detail on our cancellation policy.
  • Can you issue an invoice?
    Yes, we just need your tax details before check-out.
